A note to CEO, Director, Line Manager or any other decision maker

A never-ending dilemma of what’s the point of yet another certification hangs in the air now, perhaps more than ever before. What is the business value of going through the costly and relatively lengthy process of obtaining yet another credential?

To answer this question, we need to recognize that for 20+ years the Project Management Professional, better known as the PMP has been the gold standard for anyone pursuing a career in project management, but more importantly it was the business requirement that customers demanded of suppliers, for managing their commercial and other projects.

Then “Agile” came and totally changed the landscape. An “ocean” of new and easy-to-get certificates such as Scrum Master and Product Owner emerged, but those credentials have failed to fulfill the requirements and in most cases proved to be – useless paper.

Scrum and the other new wave methodologies argued that business doesn’t need to worry about cost and risk, the two of the most critical aspects of any project. The “paradigm” failed as the stakeholders rapidly grew frustrated of this new narrative of fake-it-until-you-make-it-project-management. Waterfall failed, but many iterative approaches proved short of expectations, as well. Clearly, there was a need for a new way to successfully deliver customer value and manage projects.

PMI has recognized that need and invested thousands of hours into research before they came out with an answer that will satisfy both the business and the customers; and give the necessary new tools & techniques to PMPs and other project managers.

The PMI-ACP® or popularly known as The Agile PMP is that answer. It combines the best of both worlds – control over scope, budget and quality of delivery with agility and flexibility of more modern iterative approaches.

This is why the PMI-ACP® is the fastest growing certificate on the global market. It gives traditional PMPs and other project managers a competitive edge, that no other credential does, but more importantly – it delivers greater value to the customer.

Overview:

Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® Exam Preparation course explains the most widely accepted agile methodologies and fully prepares you to pass the PMI-ACP® exam, all while testing and filling he gaps in your knowledge of the subject. This 3-day intensive and practical workshop provides 21 certified training hours (PDU) which is 100% of the formal training requirement. The course helps participants acquire a clear and complete vision and understanding of the different agile methodologies, their foundations, terminology and the tools that facilitate implementation.

Course Learning Objectives

A flexible agile approach is ideal for many types of projects including new product development, software development, and others. Agile concepts focus on attributes that exist in every project, so if you're currently using other project management methodologies, you will discover how agile methods can add value and deliver more successful projects:

∙ Understand the knowledge and experience requirements you need to pass the PMI-ACP exam
∙ Understand the seven PMI domains that organize the vast world of agile:

* Domain I. Agile Principles and Mindset
* Domain II. Value-driven Delivery
* Domain III. Stakeholder Engagement
* Domain IV. Team Performance
* Domain V. Adaptive Planning
* Domain VI. Problem Detection and Resolution
* Domain VII. Continuous Improvement (Product, Process & People)

∙ Identify personal gaps in knowledge and experience for agile projects to focus your study time
∙ Develop a personalized study plan for preparing for the PMI-ACP exam
∙ Prospect of passing the PMI-ACP® exam IMMEDIATELY after this class

Welcome ∙ by your ∙ Workshop Leader

Dear PMI- ACP® workshop participant,

I am very excited to welcome you to my latest training course, which I have been developing over the last 4 years, encompassing some of the very best practices from dozens of companies and hundreds of people I have been working with lately.

There is an evident trend that the number of certified PMI-ACP® credential holders is increasing year-by-year, but more importantly it is exponentially increasing against the SM / SPO papers, as these certificates failed to achieve its goal and companies are now increasingly turning towards the PMI agile methodology.

After more than 20 years of deliverring PM workshops all around the World, I am always excited to be back in Zagreb!

I am looking forward to meeting you on OCTOBER 25th, at Hotel Antunovic!

Warm regards,
Roger Wild, PMP, PMI-ACP
